Aim It was designed to determine the thoughts and effective factors of senior students (Nursing, Midwifery, Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation) in the Faculty of Health Sciences about violence. Materials and Methods The universe of descriptive cross-sectional research consists of the last year students (375 people) studying at the Faculty of Health Sciences of the University of Health Sciences. The people who agreed to participate in the study(209 people) constitute the sample of the study. The data was collected by meeting face to face with a data sheet consisting of 23 questions. The data obtained were evaluated with number, percentage distributions, averages, standard deviation and chi-square calculations in the SPSS program. Necessary permissions have been obtained for the research. Results Of the 209 people who participated in our survey, 157(75.1) were female and 52(24.9%) were male. Of 209, 90(43.1%) were in nursing, 43(20.6%) were in midwifery, and 76(36.4%) were in Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation departments. Of the respondents, 46(22%) stated that they had experienced violence, while 92(44%) stated that they had witnessed violence. Students answered the question as to 143(68.4%) were women and 45 (21.5%) were children who was most exposed to violence. 113(54.1%) people stated that the violence of children and 63(30.1%) women had a profound effect on them. 117(56%) people reported sexual violence and 45(21.5%) people reported psychological violence as more severe than other types of violence. Those who participated in our survey (192 people (91.9%)) often stated that there could be no situation to justify violence. 172(81.8%) stated that they did not participate “can't go between husband and wife” in the discourse commonly used in our society. 19(36.5%) of the male students in the study, have stated that agrees with this. It showed that 193(92.3%) people disagreed the sentence that “doesn't beat your daughter beats your knee”. 198(94.7%) reported that violence was in no way an indication of love. 208(99.5) people stated that the punishments given to those who commit violence were insufficient. Conclusion The vast majority of students studying at the Faculty of Health Sciences were not exposed to violence and did not witness violence. However, it was determined that there were also students who were exposed to violence and witnessed violence. Students have stated that they experience feelings of anger, sadness and despair when they hear news of the violence. Students stated that sexual violence was the most severe of the types of violence. It was found that most students in the 20-24 age group encountered violence.
