Abstract:

The Ottoman State joined the First Cihan War as a ally of Germany. The Ottoman State, fighting against Britain, Russia and France on the five fronts, was pushed into political loneliness and occupation with Germany's defeat. The Contract of Mondros, signed after the war, and the opposition states occupied the Ottoman territory one by one. Greece, which is supported by Britain, has also struggled to take part in the divided Ottoman territory. Due to the severe conditions of the Mondros Conflict, the Ottoman State had no power to resist these occupations. As a result of this situation, the organization "Millions of Towers" has emerged, which is a public movement in which the population of every section is involved. Kuayı Millliye represents the rebellion of the Turkish people against occupation, persecution and injustice. They have taken important tasks such as slowing the progress of the Greek forces and saving time in many regions for the recovery of the army.
