There are studies that show that boxing causes serious injuries and involves violence, but there are studies that indicate that this sport does not have so many aspects of being. This contradiction may make it difficult for athletes and their parents to reach clear scientific facts, which is why they may show a negative attitude towards the boxing sport. In addition, these negative attitudes of athletes and parents can also affect coaches. In this context, the first goal of this research is to study the boxing sport from the point of view of boxing coaches. The second goal is to determine the attitudes of athletes and athlete parents towards boxing from the perspective of the coaches. The team consists of eight boxing coaches. During the data collection stage, individual conversations with the participants were conducted. The conversations were recorded on the audio recording device and then brought into the text. The analysis was carried out using content analysis in NVIVO 11. The discussion resulted in five topics. These are the topics: "The reasons for athletes to start the boxing", "The benefits of the boxing", "The problems and actions expressed towards the boxing", "The ones applied to solve problems and concerns" and "Trainers' recommendations". As a result, there are various reasons for individuals to start the boxing, but the participation in the boxing has cognitive, social, emotional, physical/health-related, career and financial benefits. In addition, it has been determined that individuals have many concerns about participating in the boxing. These concerns are concerns about sport’s school success, sports injury and illness, disturbance or illness in appearance, challenging dietary practices, consideration that boxing is not suitable for women and children, women and men are training together, thoughts that boxing is not hygienic, thoughts that parents will not support the participation in boxing, and thoughts that boxing children may be fighters. According to the coaches, athletes and parents have many wrong beliefs about boxing. Coaches who use various methods to cope with these concerns and problems have also given some recommendations.
