Abstract:

In this study, Terra Rossalar, formed on carbonate platforms around the Akseki (Antalya) county located in the Mediterranean climate, was researched in the CBS environment. In this study, all the vector and raster numeric data of the field, CBS software and satellite images were used. In the software environment for CBS applications, the numerical data of the fields of geology, topography, ziraat and imar-iskan have both been analyzed and evaluated together, compared with current satellite maps. On the one hand, with the topographic data of the sand, curvature analyses were made, and on the other hand, carbonate platform formations were found taking into account the formations belonging to the geology of the sand. Aluvions have found a carbonate platform of 14688 hectares of area, except the imar-iskan areas. Current satellite images have detected Terra Rossa formations, which have a total area of 1292 hectares between 0% and 55% of curvature on carbonate platforms. In the 1640 hectares of carbonate platforms with 55% of curvature, Terra Rossa formations have not been observed. Terra Rossa formations are most located in the grapes of the Paleosen-Eosen old conglomerate, the slurry, the slurry, the slurry, and the slurry, the slurry, the slurry, the slurry, the slurry, the slurry, the slurry, the slurry, the slurry, the slurry, and the slurry. The remaining 128 hectares of the Terra Rossa formations were found as unused Terra Rossa formations. Unused Terra Rossa formations make up 11% of the Terra Rossa formations used in ziraat. 10% of the potential Terra Rossa formation area is made up of Terra Rossa. The unused Terra Rossa formations can be used as plannings, local-specific farm, livestock (including cattle and cattle) and trees. Terra Rossa formations can be investigated more in detail by remote detection methods due to the demyroxide minerals they contain.
