ÖĞRETMEN KAYNAĞI PLANLAMASI BAĞLAMINDA FEN EDEBİYAT FAKÜLTELERİNİN TARİH LİSANS PROGRAMLARI VE KONTENJANLARI ÜZERİNE BİR İNCELEME (2000-2019)

Abstract:

Fen-edebiyat fakültelerinin tarih lisans programları ile bu programların kontenjanlarındaki sayısal gelişmeleri ortaya koymak amacıyla gerçekleştirilen bu araştırmada doküman incelemesi yönteminden yararlanılmıştır. Araştırma sonucunda fen-edebiyat fakültelerinin gerek normal öğretim gerekse ikinci öğretim lisans programlarında 2000-2018 yılları arasında sürekli bir artış olduğu, 2018 yılından itibaren ise program sayısı ve toplam kontenjanlarda azalma eğiliminin başladığı anlaşılmıştır. Fen-edebiyat fakültelerinin normal ve ikinci öğretim lisans programlarının sayı ve kontenjanlarındaki artışa bağlı olarak bu programlara yerleşen öğrencilerin başarı sıralamaları da her geçen yıl yükselerek daha düşük puanlı öğrenciler bu programlara yerleşmeye başlamıştır. Başarı puanındaki düşüş 2018 yılında en yüksek düzeye ulaşmıştır. Araştırma sonucunda fen-edebiyat fakültelerinin amaç, misyon ve vizyonunun çağın gerekleri ve ülkenin ihtiyaçları doğrultusunda yeniden belirlenmesi ve yüksek hazırbulunuşluk düzeyine sahip öğrencilerin bu programları tercih etmelerini sağlayacak özendiricilerin devreye sokulması önerilmiştir.

Abstract:

The research was conducted in order to reveal the number of developments in the history of the Bachelor's programmes of the Faculty of Science and Literature and the contents of these programmes, using the method of document study. The research finds that the faculties of science and literature have a continuous increase in the second degree programs between 2000-2018 years, and from 2018 the number of programs and the tendency to decrease in the total content has begun. Depending on the increase in the number and content of the normal and secondary degree programs of the Faculty of Science and Literature, the success ratings of students placed in these programs are also increasing every year, and lower-pointed students have started to placed in these programs. The decline in the success score reached the highest level in 2018. The research has suggested that the objective, mission and vision of the Faculty of Science and Literature should be re-defined in accordance with the needs of the age and the needs of the country, and that the students with a high level of preparation should be able to activate incentives that will allow them to prefer these programs.

In this research, which was carried out in order to reveal the numerical developments in the undergraduate programs of the faculties of science and literature and the quotas of these programs, the document review method was used. As a result of the research, it was understood that science and literature faculties had a continuous increase between 2000-2018 in both normal education and secondary education undergraduate programs, and since 2018, the number of programs and the decrease in total quotas started. Due to the increase in the number and quotas of the normal and secondary education undergraduate programs of the faculties of science and literature, the success rankings of the students who have settled in these programs have increased each year and the students with lower scores have started to settle in these programs. The decline in success score reached its highest level in 2018. As a result of the research, it has been suggested that the purpose, mission and vision of the science and literature faculties should be redefined in line with the needs of the country and the needs of the country, and the incentives to enable students with a high level of readiness to choose these programs.
