El dokuması halı, bu güne kadar var olagelmiş el sanatların içinde binlerce yıllık geçmişe sahip olmasına rağmen temel üretimi ve tekniği hiç değişmeden hâlâ devam eden en önemli ürünlerdendir. Halıya, dokuma sanatı içinde karakterini veren düğümlü teknik, ilk kez Orta Asya’da Türklerin bulunduğu bölgelerde ortaya çıkmış, gelişimini Türklerle sürdürmüş ve tüm İslam dünyasına Türkler tarafından tanıtılmıştır. Bu tekniğin bulunuşu, göçebe bir kavmin daha kalın ve ısıtıcı bir zemin bulma arzusu gibi pratik bir nedene dayanmaktadır. Tarih boyunca oluşturduğumuz engin kültürümüzün ana unsurlarından biri olan halı sanatı, renkleri ve sembolik dili gibi nitelikleriyle özel bir öneme sahiptir. Bu çalışmada halı sanatının en dikkat çeken ve tanınan Sındırgı Yağcıbedir halılarının zengin kültür mirası, kompozisyonu, renk yapısı ve sembolik motifleri değerlendirilmektedir. Sembolik motif, bir şeyi ifade eden, bir düşünceyi uyandıran ve ifade ettiği bu anlamlarıyla gelenek, görenek ve inanç gibi olguları yansıtmaktadır. Çalışma kapsamında Yağcıbedir halılarında yer alan temel motif ve desenlerindeki semboller üzerinde göstergebilimsel çözümleme yapılarak, bu motiflerin sembolik dili, alt metinleri, teknik ve sanatsal özellikleri irdelenmeye çalışılmıştır.
Although handwoven carpet has a thousands of years of history in the crafts that exists until today, its basic production and technology is one of the most important products that continues without any change. The node technology, which gives its character in the textile art, first appeared in the regions where the Turks in Central Asia, continued its development with the Turks and was introduced to the entire Islamic world by the Turks. The presence of this technique is based on a practical reason, such as the desire of a immigrant people to find a thick and warming ground. It is one of the main elements of our engin culture that we have formed throughout history and has a special importance with its qualities such as art, colors and symbolic language. In this study, we evaluate the rich cultural heritage, composition, color structure and symbolic motives of the well-known Tape Tape. The symbolic motivation reflects the phenomena such as tradition, appearance and belief in these meanings which express a thing, awaken a thought and express it. In the framework of the study, the indicative analysis of the symbols and patterns in the basic motifs and patterns contained in the Yağcıbedir roofs, the symbolic language, subtext, technical and artistic characteristics of these motifs were tried to be identified.
Although hand-woven carpets have a history of thousands of years in the handicrafts that have existed to today, the basic production and technique is still the most important product that has not changed. The knotted technique, which gives its character to the art of weaving on the carpet, first appeared in the regions of Turks in Central Asia. The knotted technique continued its development with the Turks and was introduced to the whole Islamic world by the Turks. Carpet art, which is one of the basic elements of Anatolian culture, has a special importance with its qualities such as colors and symbolic language. In this study, the rich cultural heritage, composition, color structure and symbolic motifs of Sındırgı Yagcıbedir carpets, which are the most remarkable and recognized carpet art, are evaluated. The symbolic motif reflects phenomena such as tradition and belief in terms of expressing something, arousing a thought and expressing it. Within the scope of this study, semiotic analysis will be made on the symbols in the basic motifs and patterns of Yağcıbedir carpets. Symbolic language, subtexts, technical and artistic characteristics of these motifs have been tried to be examined. In the study, the social and usage of the motifs used in Yagcıbedir carpets involves certain purposes in life, because with this movement, the symbolic and indicative meanings of these motifs and what kind of communicative features are examined. In this context, it is aimed to reveal that the use of motifs, which is a way of expressing itself in Anatolian culture, in terms of Yagcıbedir carpets, has different meanings. In this way, it is hoped that the study will contribute to the field of communication, as it tries to keep projections on one aspect of the field of communication that is not intensely discussed in the literature. In the study, it has been determined that the motifs in Yagcıbedir carpets have very striking and deep meanings regarding many aspects of individual and social life such as life, death, love, love, marriage, youth, old age, hope, and longing.
