Folk tales comprise one of the important genres of Turkish folk literature. When the texts of folk tales are examined, it is observed that they are very rich in terms of objective meaning (the world of objects). In the process of cultural change and development, some of these objects have come out of our daily lives. For this reason, folk stories contain hundreds of objects whose meaning and function are unknown. As a material and nonmaterial element of culture, it is necessary to carry out researches in order to determine the world of objects in folk tales and to document them in the context of intangible cultural heritage. In order to create a better understanding of the world of objects in folk tales, it has been tried in this work to determine the world of objects in selected folk tale texts. The stories in 23 different titles in 12 story books were the subject of this study. Within the scope of the study, 48 stories were scanned in terms of material objects. Approximately 400 objects identified are classified according to their subjects. In the introduction part of the work, the process of transition from epos to folk tales was evaluated in the context of cultural change and development. The other title in the introduction part entitled "The Impact of Cultural Change and Development on Folk Tales and the World of Objects in Folk Tales", addresses the effects of today's rapid cultural and social changes on the world of objects in folk tales. In the section entitled "The Classification of the World of Objects in Folk Tales and Listing of Those Objects", the elements associated with clothing, dressing (covering) and decoration, culinary culture, accommodation, various tools and articles used in daily life, transportation, mines and gems, medicine, occupations, various units, animals, plants, games and written documents were identified in folk tales, and the objects were listed under these headings. In the section entitled "Examples of the World of Objects in Folk Tales", the examples of texts were provided in relation to the objects identified by examining the folk tales in the previous section, and the meanings of those objects were mentioned.
