Abstract:

Objective: The importance of the quality and accreditation activities is increasing day by day for each health institute seeking to obtain a competitive advantage in today’s health care system. It is very important to turn these activities to corporate culture by evaluating them from viewpoint of the health employees. It was aimed to evaluating the quality and accreditation activities from viewpoint of employees with this study prepared in this context. Method: Research was carried out in three centers to cover an accredited private hospital, a Public Hospital of the Ministry of Health and a Military Hospital. The obtained data were evaluated in the database of Statistical Package for Social Science for Windows (SPSS 15). Result and conclusion: In the result of the study, it was concluded that accredited private hospital employees had high level of knowledge on quality and accreditation activities (X :3,65); employees in Public Hospital of the Ministry of Health were encouraged to participate in quality and accreditation activities by senior management ( X :3,06); and quality activities in Military Hospital were evaluated that they will increase the competitive power of hospital (X :3,28)
