Abstract:

This study was conducted in private educational institutions with the aim of studying the impact of organizational information sharing on the information security process. As a defining character, the quantum research model used in the research, the data collection form was used, consisting of three sections (Personal Information Form, Information Sharing Scale, Information Security Scale). The survey was based on the 374 survey assessments completed by participants who agreed to participate in the research in the special teaching courses and private schools. In the analysis of the data, SPSS 16.00 was used. In the study, Kruskal Wallis, Mann-Whitney U test and Spearman Correlation analysis were used with linear regression analysis. The study found that there was a positive mean-sensitive (r=0.406, p<0.01) relationship between the organizational level of information sharing and the information security variable. Also, when the organizational level of information sharing and the lower dimensions of the level of information security are studied, it has been found that there is a meaningful relationship in all dimensions. Organizational information sharing has been determined to have a low-level significant impact on information security. The research has presented various recommendations for future research on information security and information sharing.
