Amaç: Mevcut çalışmanın amacı spor bilimleri fakültesi öğrencilerinin sürekli öfke ve öfke ifade tarzlarını incelemektir. Yöntem: Araştırma grubu, Burdur Mehmet Akif Ersoy Üniversitesi Spor Bilimleri Fakültesi öğrencileri arasından kolay ulaşılabilir örnekleme yöntemi ile belirlenen, 159 kadın ve 148 erkek olmak üzere toplam 307 katılımcıdan oluşmaktadır. Verilerin toplanmasında kişisel bilgi formu ve sürekli öfke-öfke ifade tarzı ölçeği (SÖÖTÖ) kullanılmıştır. Dağılımın normalliğine bağlı olarak analizlerde; t testi, ANOVA ve Tukey testleri kullanılmıştır. İstatistiksel analizlerde alfa değeri 0.05 olarak kabul edilmiştir. Bulgular: Bulgular incelendiğinde, sürekli öfke ve öfke ifade tarzlarında cinsiyet değişkenine göre istatistiksel olarak anlamlı farklılık bulunmamıştır (p>0.05). Yaş değişkenine göre sürekli öfke (p=.000), öfke içte (p=.039), öfke dışa (p=.000) ve öfke kontrol (p=.001) de istatistiksel olarak anlamlı farklılık bulunmuştur (p<0.05). Bölüm değişkenine göre sürekli öfke de (p=.113) anlamlı farklılık gözlenmezken, öfke ifade tarzlarından öfke içte (p=.025), öfke dışa (p=.000) ve öfke kontrol (p=.010) de istatistiksel olarak anlamlı farklılık bulunmuştur (p<0.05). Sonuç: Sonuç olarak, sürekli öfke ve öfke ifade tarzları cinsiyet değişkenine göre farklılaşmamaktadır. Öğrenim görülen bölüme göre sürekli öfke farklılaşmazken; öfke ifade tarzları farklılaşmaktadır. Yaşa göre ise sürekli öfke ve öfke ifade tarzları değişkenlik gösterebilir.
Purpose: The aim of the present study is to examine the trait anger and anger expression styles of the students of the faculty of sports sciences. Methods: The research group consists of a total of 307 participants, 159 women and 148 men, who were determined by the easily accessible sampling method among the students of the Faculty of Sport Sciences of Burdur Mehmet Akif Ersoy University. Personal information form and “trait anger and anger expression scales” were used to collect data. Depending on the normality of the distribution, in the analyzes; t test, ANOVA and Tukey tests were used. In statistical analysis, the alpha value was accepted as 0.05. Results: When the findings were examined, no statistically significant difference was found in trait anger and anger expression according to the gender variable (p>0.05). According to the age variable a statistically significant difference was found in trait anger (p=.000), anger-in (p=.039), anger-out (p=.000), and anger control (p=.001) ( p<0.05). While no significant difference was observed in trait anger (p=.113) according to the department variable, a statistically significant difference was found in anger-in (p=.025), anger-out (p=.000), and anger control (p=.010) (p<0.05). Conclusion: As a result, trait anger and anger expressions do not differ according to gender. While trait anger does not differ according to the department; Anger expressions differ. Trait anger and anger expressions may vary according to age.
