Araştırmada, müzik öğretmenliği lisans programında yer alan piyano eğitimi dersini alan öğrencilerin ve bu dersi yürüten öğretim elemanlarının beklentilerini ortaya koymak amaçlanmıştır. Belirlenen amaç doğrultusunda, 3 farklı müzik eğitimi anabilim dalında öğrenim gören ve piyano eğitimi derslerini alan öğrenciler ve bu anabilim dallarında görev yapıp, piyano eğitimi derslerini yürüten öğretim elemanları ile çalışma gerçekleştirilmiştir. Araştırmada, tarama modeli kullanılmış ve veriler modele uygun olarak görüşme tekniği ile elde edilmiştir. Veriler, içerik analizi ve yüzde-frekans olarak değerlendirilmiştir. Değerlendirme aşamasında, öğrenci ve öğretim elemanlarının beklentileri ortaya konulmuş, elde edilen veriler ışığında iki grubun beklentileri birbirleri ile karşılaştırılmıştır. Sonuç olarak çalışmanın, piyano eğitimi dersine yönelik elde edilen beklentiler ışığında ortak bir kalite gelişimi sağlanabilirliği açısından önem taşıdığı ve piyano eğitimi dersinin kalitesini artırmak için yol gösterici olduğu düşünülmektedir.
The study aims to reveal the expectations of students who take the piano training course included in the music teaching bachelor's program and the teachers who conduct this course. In accordance with the objective set, 3 different music educations have been conducted with students who have studied in the field of piano education and the teachers who have worked in these fields of piano education and the teachers who have conducted the courses of piano education. In the research, the scanning model was used and the data was obtained by the conversation technique in accordance with the model. The data is evaluated as content analysis and percentage-frequency. At the evaluation stage, the expectations of students and teachers were revealed, and the expectations of the two groups were compared with each other in light of the obtained data. As a result, the study is believed to be of importance in terms of the possibility of a common quality development in light of the expectations obtained for the piano training course and to be a guide to improving the quality of the piano training course.
