Abstract:

In this study, using the post-classing comparison method, it is intended to identify temporary changes that occur in forests that show spread in the West Black Sea Region and have shells with differences in terms of structural characteristics such as tree type, age of development, depletion. In 1987 and 2000, Landsat satellite images were classified with the highest probability algorithm. The accuracy of the classified images is assessed using error matrix and the general cover statistics are calculated as 0.8543 and 0.9038 respectively. In the achieved exchange matrix, when transitions between different main information classes were studied, the exchange was determined in 29.77% of the total area. As a result, in this study using the Landsat satellite data set, it was found that the post-classing comparison method and time changes occurring in the woods with heterogeneous structure in the field of work could be determined in limited details but with high accuracy.
