Tarım sektörünün önemi ve sahip olduğu özellikleri nedeniyle sektörün mali yönden desteklenmesine ilişkin düzenlemeler, tarımsal politikaların dizaynında önemli bir yere sahiptir. Türkiye’de bu önemin bilinciyle tarım sektörüne yönelik çeşitli destekleme politikaları takip etmektedir. Bu destekleme kapsamında yer alan tarımsal ürünlerden biri de fındıktır. Fındık geçmişten bu yana Türkiye’nin milli gelir, ihracat ve istihdamdaki payıyla ekonomik ve sosyal hayatında önemli bir pay bulmaktadır. Bu noktadan hareketle bu çalışma, fındık çiftçilerinin fındık üretimine yönelik mali desteklere ilişkin görüşlerini araştırmayı amaçlamaktadır. Çalışma kapsamında Giresun’da fındık üreticisi 396 fındık üreticisine anket uygulanmıştır. Araştırma neticesinde çiftçilerin büyük kısmı mevcut destekleme usulünden memnun olmakla beraber, destek miktarının maliyetleri yeterince karşılamadığını düşünmektedir.
Due to the importance and characteristics of the agricultural sector, the regulations on the financial support of the sector have an important role in the design of agricultural policies. In Turkey, with the awareness of this importance, various support policies are followed towards the agricultural sector. One of the agricultural products that are included in this support is nuts. Since the past, Nuts has found a significant share in the economic and social life of Turkey with its national income, export and employment. From this point of view, this study aims to investigate the opinions of nuts farmers on the financial support for nuts production. In the framework of the study, a survey was carried out on 396 nuts producers in Giresun. According to the research, the majority of farmers are satisfied with the existing support procedure, but they believe that the amount of support does not meet the costs sufficiently.
Due to agricultural sector’s importance and qualifications it has utmost importance regarding to support of sector by fiscal policy and agricultural regulations. Aware of this importance, Turkey, follows different kinds of support policies in regard to agriculture. One of the product is hazelnut within the context of this agricultural suppor policy. Since the past, hazelnut has an important share of Turkey’s gross domestic product, exportation and employment. From this point of view, this study aims to search opinion of hazelnut farmers regarding to hazelnut production support policy. A poll conducted to 396 hazelnut manufacturer within the scope of study. Although most of the farmers are content with the existing fiscal support administration, they think amount of support don’t meet with cost according to the result of the study.
