Bu çalışmanın amacı göçmen çocukların eğitiminde yaşanan sorunlar ve çözüm önerilerine ilişkin öğretmen görüşlerinin araştırılmasıdır. Çalışma 2020 - 2021 eğitim öğretim yılında Gaziantep, Şanlıurfa ve Hatay illerinde göçmen çocukların derslerinde görev almış 28 sözleşmeli öğretmen ile yürütülmüştür. Çalışma nitel araştırma yöntemlerinden temel nitel araştırma desenine göre yürütülmüştür. Veriler, araştırmacılar tarafından geliştirilen yazılı görüş alma formu ile toplanmış ve içerik analizi ile çözümlenmiştir. Araştırma sonucunda, göçmen çocukların eğitiminde görev alan öğretmenlerin birçok dilsel sorun yaşadıkları, öğretmenlerden birçoğunun göçmen öğrencilere eğitim vermeden önce herhangi bir eğitim almadıkları, öğretmenlerin çoğunun göçmen öğrenciler için eğitim eşitliğinin sağlanması gerektiğini düşündükleri sonuçlarına ulaşılmıştır.
The aim of this study is to investigate the teachers’ opinions on the problems experienced in the education of immigrant children and the suggestions for solutions. The study was conducted in the educational year 2020-2021 with 28 contractual teachers who took part in the classes of immigrant children in the provinces of Gaziantep, Shanlıurfa and Hatay. The work is carried out according to the basic quality research pattern of research methods. The data was collected through the written opinion form developed by the researchers and analyzed by content analysis. The study found that teachers engaged in the education of immigrant children had many language problems, that many teachers did not receive any education before they educated immigrant students, and that most teachers believed that equal education should be provided for immigrant students.
