Abstract:

Eğitim –Öğretim sistemi içerisinde bilginin verilme biçiminin önemi tartışmasız bir durum arz etmektedir. Bilginin öğrencilere verilme biçimi, bilginin kalıcılığı sorununu da beraberinde getirmektedir. Eğitim ve öğretimin kalitesi açısından, amaç, öğrencilerde bilginin daha kalıcı olmasını sağlamaktır. Bundan dolayı da bilginin kalıcılığını sağlamak için, birçok öğretim yöntemleri geliştirilmiştir. Bu çalışmada sanat tarihi öğretiminde kullanılan iki yöntemin (sunu-gösteri yöntemi (demonstrasyon) ve gezi-gözlem yöntemi) bilginin kalıcılığı açısından mukayesesi yapılmıştır. The way knowledge is conveyed to the students raises the problem of retention of knowledge. In terms of the quality of the education and instruction process, the purpose is to have students retain the knowledge longer. Therefore, several instructional methods have been developed to ensure the long-term retention of knowledge. In this study, two methods used in teaching art history, presentation-demonstration method and field trips method, were compared in terms of retention of knowledge. In this respect, the third graders studying at the Department of Teaching Fine Arts in the Faculty of Education at Malatya İnönü University were introduced the Ulu Cami (Great Mosque) in Ancient Malatya using presentation and field trips methods.
