Abstract The article aims to verify the contributions in scientific productions on the theme of shared teaching in Early Childhood Education. For this, a bibliographic review of available works was carried out in the following databases: Portal of Capes, SciELO and Capes Theses and Dissertations Journals, in order to understand the challenges and potential of shared action in the context of Education Childish. From the inclusion and exclusion criteria, 17 works were selected, 7 articles and 10 master's dissertations. Throughout the analysis, two categories were created: the first indicates the discussions about teaching and its specificities in Early Childhood Education. The second category addresses the dialogues, approximations, potentialities and challenges of shared teaching. The researches present approximations in the understanding of shared teaching and point out the challenges, but also the potentialities that the sharing of teaching establishes.
