The debate about the concept of justice, which expresses the balance sought in human relations with society and the state, is as old as human history. Every worldview has provided an explanation of justice and placed justice at the basis of human and social life. It has been said that if justice is fully established, human and society can live in peace, otherwise each will be dragged into mischief. In addition to the debate about what justice is, another debate about who can provide justice has always continued uninterruptedly from ancient civilizations to the present. After Ancient Greece, Islamic civilization also gave importance to this issue and created systematic studies. In this context, one of the views that provides an explanation about justice and who can execute it is Twelvers. The Twelvers gave special importance to the concept of justice because of related to the concept of walayet. On the political plane, it has been argued that only the jurist can provide justice because he resembles the Imams. This wievpoint added a politic role for faqih that it was take responsibility the management of society. This article aims to discuss the quality of justice sought by Twelvers in Veliyy-i faqih, the concept of justice in the historical path with its philosophical, theological and fiqh dimensions. In addition to tries to explain the conditions in the Islamic Republic of Iran where faqihs has a legal, political and religious position at the constitutional level there.
