Abstract:

This study examined the impact of the psycho-education program based on mental-emotional-behavioral therapy (ADDT) on children’s levels of aggression. In the study, the pre-test, the last test measurement half-experimental pattern was used. The study group is composed of students who score above a standard deviation (ss=3,62) of the Aggression Scale (SÖ) average that continues their studies in the third and fourth classes of primary school. The experimental group (n=8) was applied a psycho-training to reduce aggressive behaviors in nine sessions, while the control group (n=8) did not conduct any study. The findings from the research found that the psycho-education program was effective in decreasing children’s levels of aggression, in some sense giving them the ability to control their anger and express in non-aggressive ways. The results obtained are in support of the relevant field text.
