Abstract:

This study aims to explore the relationship between the extinction and level of excellence of teachers working in primary and secondary education institutions. For this purpose, a relational scan model was used in the study. The universe of research is formed by teachers who work in primary, secondary and high school in Afyonkarahisar or Dinar district. In the Dinar district, which constitutes the universe of the research, the volume of the work group has been identified as 321 teachers after the data and end values of the participants to work from teachers who worked during the 2018-2019 academic year. In the research, the quantum research method was used and the survey was used as a data collection tool. For the analysis of the data obtained from teachers, the IBM SPSS 22 program was used. The percentage and frequency were used in the display of the distribution related to the demographic and professional characteristics of teachers. T tests and one-way variance analysis (ANOVA) for independent samples were used in the study of the differentiation of the scores that teachers obtain from the lower dimensions according to the demographic and professional characteristics of teachers. In the assessment of the data obtained from the field research, 95% confidence was taken into account. As a result, the study found that the teachers who participated in the study had low extinction dimensions and general extinction points. According to the correlation outcomes, from the extinction of teachers to the dimensions of perfectionism, there are meaningful relationships with high standards and negative, contradictory and positive.
