Environmental literacy education plays a vital part in building a future generation capable of dealing with global issues in both developed and developing countries. Environmental issues are one among them. The goal of this study was to look at knowledge, cognitive ability, and attitude skill. We employed a survey approach with three components to collect data, and the study's respondents were Highland Rural students. The results demonstrated a moderate level of environmental literacy in terms of attitudes (mean=3.57, SD.=1.03), lack of environmental knowledge, and high awareness of global problems. Results can be making-decision for environmental education in school and reflections on curriculum.
