It is aimed to examine the relationship between secondary school students' internal reading motivations, achievements, reading attitudes and habits. For this purpose, the relational survey model, one of the quantitative research methods, was used. The sample of the study consists of 1137 secondary school students selected by simple random sampling method. This research aims to examine the relationship between secondary school students' intrinsic motivation for reading, their attitudes and habits towards reading, and their success. For this reason, Reading Intrinsic Motivation Scale and Attitudes and Habits Towards Reading Scale were used in the study. The scales used in the research were applied to the students via Google Forms. In the analysis of the data, arithmetic mean, standard deviation and frequency values were calculated for the descriptive analysis values. In addition, since the assumption of normality distribution was provided in the research data, the relationship between the variables was calculated using the Pearson Correlation Coefficient. When the findings obtained in the research were examined, it was observed that the students' internal motivation for reading was at a high level and even the factors of curiosity, interest and perseverance, which are the sub-components of reading internal motivation, were also at high levels. In fact, it was observed that they were at high levels in the factors of curiosity, interest and perseverance, which are the sub-components of reading intrinsic motivation. When the findings of the study were examined, it was shown that the internal motivation of reading and reading attitudes and habits of secondary school students were at a high level. In addition, it shows that Turkish course success is related to both reading intrinsic motivation and reading attitudes and habits, but this relationship is at a low level. The research was carried out on the effect of attitude, habit and internal motivation variables in quantitative reading.
