Nitel yaklaşımla ele alınan bu araştırmanın temel amacı eğitim öğretim sisteminin içinde hem öğrenci hem de geleceğin öğretmenleri olarak yer alan öğretmen adaylarının, uzaktan eğitimde ölçme ve değerlendirme sürecine yönelik görüşlerinin ortaya çıkarılmasıdır. Araştırmanın çalışma grubunu Gazi Üniversitesinde eğitimine devam eden gönüllü 40 öğretmen adayı oluşturmuştur. Araştırmanın amacına yönelik yarı yapılandırılmış bir görüşme formu kullanılmıştır. Araştırmanın temel bulgularına göre uzaktan eğitim sürecinde karşılaşılan güçlükler temasına yönelik olarak öğretmen adayları ölçme ve değerlendirme sürecinde çok fazla ödev verildiğini, verilen ödevlerin veya sınavların zor ve yönergelerinin yetersiz olduğunu belirtmişlerdir. Öğretmen adaylarının uzaktan eğitimde kaliteye dönük önerileri incelendiğinde ise ölçme ve değerlendirme sürecine ilişkin olarak kopya ve sınav güvenliğine ilişkin önerileri en başta gelmektedir. Uzaktan eğitimin avantajları temasına yönelik bulgular incelendiğinde ise ölçme ve değerlendirme sürecinde öğretmen adaylarının uzaktan eğitimde bir dersin uygulamalarında daha az strese girdiklerini, ödev ve sınavlarından daha yüksek puanlar alabildiklerini belirtmişlerdir. Yüz yüze eğitimin avantajları temasına yönelik bulgular incelendiğinde öğretmen adaylarının ölçme ve değerlendirme sürecine yönelik ise ölçme sonuçlarının güvenilir olduğuna yönelik avantajının olduğu yönünde görüş bildirdikleri tespit edilmiştir. Araştırmanın sonuçları ışığında uzaktan eğitime yönelik birtakım öneriler sunulmuştur.
The aim of this research, which is handled with a qualitative approach, is to reveal the views of pre-service teachers about the measurement and evaluation process in distance education. The study group of the research consists of 40 volunteer pre-service teachers in the Gazi University. A semi-structured interview form was used for the purpose of the research. According to the findings of the study, regarding the theme of difficulties encountered in the distance education process, pre-service teachers stated that too many homeworks were given, and homeworks or exams given were difficult and the instructions were insufficient. When the suggestions for quality in distance education are examined, their suggestions regarding exam security come first in relation to the measurement and evaluation process. On the theme of the advantages of distance education were examined, it was stated that during the measurement and evaluation process, the pre-service teachers were less stressed in the practices of a course in distance education. On the theme of the advantages of face-to-face education were examined, it was determined that the pre-service teachers stated that the measurement results were reliable. In the light of the results of the research, some suggestions for distance education are presented.
