SANAT EĞİTİMİNDE BİR ALT DİSİPLİN OLARAK UYGULAMALI ÇALIŞMALAR VE GESTALT ALGI KURAMI

Abstract:

Sanat eğitiminde bir alt disiplin olarak uygulamalı çalışmaların Gestalt algı kuramı bağlamında yeri ve önemi araştırılarak irdelenmiştir. Uygulamalı çalışmalarda Gestalt algısal örgütlenme ilkeleri ve Gestalt algı yanılsaması kavramlarının sanat eğitiminde ulaşılmak istenilen hedeflerde yaratıcı düşünme ve çok yönlü düşünme gibi bilişsel süreçleri harekete geçirerek farklı bakış açıları sunmasının yanı sıra psikomotor becerilerinde gerçekleşmesinde aktif rol üstlendiği görülmüştür. Sanat eğitiminde; görsel algılama bağlamında hareket edildiğinde bireylerin uyarıcılar karşısında algılama eğilimleri bireyden bireye farklılıklar göstereceği gibi aynı bireylerin aynı uyarıcılara farklı bir bakış açısıyla yaklaşımları da uyarıcıların olduklarından daha değişik şekillerde anlamlandırılmasına zemin oluşturmuştur. Sanatçıların da bu ilke paralelinde hareket etmesi, uygulamalı çalışmalarda özgünlüğün ve yaratıcılığın farklı boyutlarla yansıtılarak sanatın plastik dili ile Gestalt algısal örgütlenme ilkelerinin bireylerdeki yeni oluşumların ve yaratımların temel değişkenliklerini oluşturduğu görülmüştür. Çalışmanın temel amacı; çağdaş eğitim kuramlarından Gestalt algı kuramının, sanat eğitimindeki yerini araştırmak ve sorgulamak olmuştur. Diğer bir husus ise Gestalt algı kuramının sanat eğitiminde ne tür değişkenliklerle ifade edildiğinin yansımalarını irdelemektir.

Abstract:

The place and importance of the practical studies as a subdiscipline in the art education in the context of Gestalt perception theory is studied. In applied studies, Gestalt’s concepts of perceptive organization and Gestalt’s concepts of perceptive misconception have been shown to play an active role in the realization of psychomotor skills by activating cognitive processes such as creative thinking and multilateral thinking in the objectives desired to be achieved in art education. In the art education, when moves in the context of visual perception, the perception tendencies of individuals against the stimulators will show differences from individual to individual, the same individuals have a different perspective of the same stimulators and their approaches to the same stimulators will also be underlying in different ways than the stimulators. The artists are also moving in parallel with this principle, reflecting originality and creativity in different dimensions in practical works, the art’s plastic language and Gestalt perceptive organization principles have shown to form the fundamental variations of new formations and creations in individuals. The main objective of the study was to investigate and question the place of Gestalt perception theory in art education from contemporary education theories. Another aspect is the reflection of the Gestalt perception theory with what kind of variations are expressed in art education.

As a sub-discipline, the applied studies’ place and importance in the context of Gestalt theory was analyzed. The concepts of Gestalt perceptive organization policies and Gestalt illusion of perception in the applied studies have been observed to have an active role in improving the creative thought processes while achieving the designated goals in the art educations, offering multiple different perspectives as well as improving the psycho-motor skills in the multi-faceted thinking cognitive processes. In the education of art; when approached within the context of visual perception, individuals’ tendency to perceive stimulations vary for each individual, at the same time, this has set up the groundwork for the same individuals’ different approaches to the same stimulation to give them different meanings. Artists has followed a parallel approach under this policy as well, which allowed creativity and uniqueness in applied studies to be reflected on a different scale, leading to an observation of Art’s plastic language and Gestalt perceptive organization policies’ formation of new processes and creations’ fundamental changes in the individual. The main reason for this study was; interrogating and researching Gestalt perception theory’s place in the education of arts from the education institutes. Another matter is the examination of Gestalt perception theory’s expression with what kind of variables it uses to reflect in the education of arts.
