Abstract:

Bu araştırma bilişsel okuma stratejilerinin öğrencilerin bilgiye dayalı metinleri okuduğunu anlama seviyeleri üzerindeki etkisini tespit etmek amacıyla yapılmıştır. Araştırmanın evreni, Ankara ili merkez ilçelerindeki ilköğretim okullarında okumakta olan sekizinci sınıf öğrencileridir. Araştırmanın örneklemini ise bu öğrenciler içinden bilgiye dayalı metinleri okuduğunu anlama düzeyi açısından aralarında anlamlı ilişki bulunmayan 24\'er kişilik iki öğrenci grubu oluşturmaktadır. Araştırmada deney grubu öğrencileriyle birlikte yedi hafta boyunca okuma stratejilerine göre düzenlenmiş olan dersler işlenmiş kontrol grubunda geleneksel öğretime devam edilmiştir.
