Abstract:

The Qur'an aims at change and transformation in the addressee audience with promises and promises. In this study, the verses of the Qur'an that directly address the believers about hell are analysed and the issues that the believers are warned about are determined. It has been evaluated what kind of style and address style is used in the verses of promise, what attitude and behaviour these verses are mentioned in response to, and whether they constitute a threat for them or not. Believers are forbidden from resembling the disbelievers / polytheists, hypocrites, Jews and Christians. They are warned that they should not disregard the halal and haram rules. The aim is to sensitise the believer in the realisation of justice by developing the awareness of the Hereafter, and to establish the principle that divine judgements should not be exceeded in the hearts and minds of the believers. If this is not done, they are warned of a painful punishment and being thrown into Hell, condemned and abandoned. When the context of these verses is taken into consideration, the unity of promise and promise has attracted attention. It is important to give good news to the believers before and after the promises. This study will contribute to the correct understanding and interpretation of the verses of promise in terms of believers and to prevent misperceptions that have occurred over time.
