Abstract:

In this study, which aims to study from the point of view of the grotesk subjects by Pertev Naili Boratav, who carried out important studies on Turkish fairy tales and published them, the data collection method was used for document review. The data is analyzed by the method of analysis. According to the findings obtained, killing from violent acts is in the first place in terms of distribution, while knitting / scratching / scratching and breasts are at the low level. In the solved fairy tales, four different unusual beings (the devil, the monster, the dragon, the neighboring beings) were met. There are also only 3 grotesk spaces (tombs, forests and wildlife) identified. Grotesk figures are the animals that make evil in the first place, while the other grotesk figures are married, man and witch that pursue evil with different frequency levels. As a result, it is seen that the grotesk objects in the fairy tales solved in the framework of the study are shaped according to the characteristics of the Turkish fairy tales and that the grotesk objects reflect in the content without distinction from the general characteristics of the Turkish fairy tales. In addition, it can be said that the grotesque objects in the fairy tales have the qualities and functions that can be used in the child’s process of acquiring identity and in the educational environments.
