Özet:

In a country with the best futsal in the world, with gifted players, with unbelievable moves, more and more children seek the futsal schools for the sport initiation. In this context this initiation has happened earlier and earlier, around 05/06 years, which might cause the sport dropout. This research is justified by taking the physical education teachers to reflect on the methods used in futsalpractice, methodology that should meet the needs of children and young people involved in the sport, encouraging them to practice it, trying to avoid an early withdrawal. The aim of the study was to identify the factors that lead children and adolescents to drop out indoor soccer practice in a small school in the city of Jataizinho-PR. The method used was a descriptive qualitative research field, from the Inventory of abandonment factors with 26 closed questions, participated in the study 41 children and adolescents, aged 08 to 13 years, who had abandoned the practice of futsal in the city's futsal school of Jataizinho during 2013. The results identified that 41% left by will or need to do other activities and 21% for not being as good as they would like to be. We concluded that it requires more interaction between student / athlete, parents, coaches, because the main reasons for early dropout is linked to this lack of interaction and motivation among them. It is important to point out that teachers should handle the initiation with great responsibility and dedication, according to their knowledge and objectives with the students.
