Abstract:

The rural rooms, which are an important element of our national culture, where the needs of passengers coming to the village for various reasons are met, are civil architectural examples where the village people gather together for social and cultural purposes. Today, the study aimed at the detection and architectural promotion of these structures that mostly lose their importance and function, has been conducted research in the towns and villages connected to the Gulf of Gulf of Gulf of Gulf of Gulf. In Güzüngülü Village, 3 in Light Village, 3 in Yaylaköy, 2 in Polat Village, 2 in Cebrail Village, 3 in Yeğinler Village, 6 in Rain Village, 2 in Green Village, 3 in Green Village, and 1 in Aşıkpaşa Village, a total of 25 village rooms have been detected. Examples have been introduced, supported by the plan and the photos taken in 2019. After the structures were evaluated according to the number of floors, the upper floor plan in which the room space in the case of the reception/collection section was studied, the characteristic architecture and decoration characteristics were tried to be determined. Most of the examples dated the 1950s and 1960s have lost their functions today and, unfortunately, have been abandoned to their fate. The main objective is to emphasize the importance of the weighing and gathering space, but most of the rural rooms that are not used today, the architecture and decoration characteristics with written and visual documents and the place in the Turkish people's architecture.
