Abstract:

Private life is one of the fundamental rights and freedoms as a human right. From the beginning to the present day, in every period of history, private life was preserved. Some of the legal interests protected in the context of private life, the privacy of the information and documents relating to the person, the protection of personal data and the right of the individual to body privacy. In the study, first of all, the concept of private life, international and national regulations relating to the protection of private life, the regulations relating to the body privacy of the patient were examined. However, the errors that appear in the subject have been attracted to attention. Later, the effects of privacy breach on the patient were pointed out and recommendations for reducing the breaches were discussed. Finally, the compensation liability arising from the privacy breach has been examined.
