Abstract:

Bu çalışmanın temel amacı Türkiye’de eğitim gören Suriyeli öğrencilerin okula uyum sürecinde yaşadıkları sorunları ve bu sorunların çözümüne ilişkin önerileri sınıf öğretmenlerinin bakış açısıyla incelemektedir. Fenomenolojik model kapsamında yürütülen çalışmada araştırmacılar tarafından literatür bulgularına ve alan uzmanlarının görüşlerine dayalı olarak yarı yapılandırılmış görüşme formu hazırlanmış ve görüşme formu Batman il merkezindeki farklı okullarda görev yapan 15 sınıf öğretmenine uygulanmıştır. Katılımcı gruptan elde edilen verilerin çözümlenmesinde ise MAXQDA 20 programı kullanılmıştır. Araştırmanın sonunda suriyeli göçmen öğrencilerin dil sorunları, davranış sorunları, akademik sorunları ve ekonomik sorunlar yaşadıkları belirlenmiştir.

Opinions of classmates on the problems that Syrian students experience in school adaptation

Abstract:

The main purpose of this study is to examine the problems that Syrian students who are studying in Turkey experience in the process of adaptation to the school and the recommendations on the solution of these problems from the point of view of class teachers. In the framework of the phenomenological model, the researchers prepared a semi-structured interview form based on literary findings and the opinions of field experts and the interview form was applied to 15 class teachers working in different schools in the center of the city of Batman. To analyze the data obtained from the participants group, the MAXQDA 20 program was used. At the end of the study, it was determined that Syrian immigrant students suffer from language problems, behavioral problems, academic problems and economic problems.
