Bu araştırma tarımda çalışan kadınların çevresel, psikososyal, fizyolojik ve sağlık davranışlarına yönelik sağlık problemlerinin belirlenmesini amaçlamıştır. Tanımlayıcı türdeki çalışmanın evrenini bir ilçede havuç işletmelerinde çalışan 46 kadın oluşturmaktadır. Araştırmada sosyodemografik değişkenler ve Omaha sistemi bileşenlerinden Problem Sınıflama Listesine göre oluşturulan 146 soruluk anket kullanılmıştır. Çalışmada veriler anket formunun doldurulması, yüz yüze görüşme ve fiziksel muayene yöntemi ile toplanmıştır. Veriler SPSS 15.0 istatistik programında sayı, yüzde, ortalama ve standart sapma ile özetlenmiş ve frekans tabloları oluşturulmuştur. Çalışmada Problem Sınıflama Listesine göre toplamda 1096 (23.8±4.3) sağlık sorunu gösteren belirti-bulgu belirlenmiştir. Omaha sistemi kullanılarak belirlenen 1096 belirti-bulgunun %7.02’sini çevresel alan, %31.5’ini psikososyal alan, %41.14’ünü fizyolojik alan ve %20.34’ünü ise sağlık davranışları alanındaki belirti-bulgular oluşturmaktadır. Kadın işçilerin sağlık sorunu gösteren belirti ve bulgularının en çok yer aldığı sağlık sorunu, çevresel alanda gelir (n=72); psikosyal alanda mental sağlık (n=86); fizyolojik alanda ağız sağlığı (n=78) ve sağlık davranışı alanında beslenme (n=54) sorunlarıdır. Çalışmadan elde edilen sonuçlar kırsal alanda tarım işçisi olarak çalışan kadınların sağlık sorunlarının oldukça çeşitli ve çok sayıda olduğunu göstermektedir. Sonuç olarak tarım işçisi kadınlar arasında fizyolojik alan sağlık sorunlarının yaygın görüldüğünü; tarım işçisi kadınların olumsuz sağlık davranışlarına sahip olduklarını, sağlık sorunları için etkin ve yeterli bakım almadıklarını ve ruhsal sorunların kentsel alana benzer şekilde ortaya çıktığını söyleyebiliriz.
This research aims to identify health problems for women working in agriculture in their environmental, psychosocial, physiological and health behavior. The universe of the work of the characteristic type is composed of 46 women working in an apple business in a district. The study used a 146 question survey created according to the Problem Classification List of sociodemographic variables and Omaha system components. In the study, the data was collected by filling in the survey form, face-to-face interview and physical examination method. The data is summarized in the SPSS 15.0 statistical program with numbers, percentages, average and standard deviations and frequency tables are created. According to the Problem Classification List, the study identified a total of 1096 (23.8±4.3) signs of health problems. 7.02 percent of the 1096 signs identified using the omaha system are signs in the environmental area, 31.5 percent in the psychosocial area, 41.14 percent in the physiological area and 20.34 percent in the health behavior area. The most common symptoms and findings of women’s health problems are health problems in the environment (n=72); mental health in the psychological area (n=86); oral health in the physiological area (n=78) and nutrition in the health behavior area (n=54) The results from the study show that women working as farmers in rural areas have a very diverse and numerous health problems. As a result, we can say that health problems in the physiological field are common among farmers; that farmers have negative health behaviors, that they do not receive effective and adequate care for health problems, and that mental problems appear similarly to the urban area.
