Yaşam akışı sosyolojisinin temel amacı, insanın hayatını ve onun geçirdiği aşamaları anlamak ve açıklamaya çalışmaktır. Hayat aslında her biri farklı basamaklardan geçerek yürüdüğümüz, insanlar arasındaki etkileşim süreçlerini de içeren, hayatın içinde diğerlerini etkilediğimiz ve onlardan etkilediğimiz bir sosyalizasyon sürecidir. Konu itibariyle yaşamın aşamaları interdisipliner bir alan olmakla birlikte, yaşam akışı sosyolojisi, sosyalizasyon ve mesleki sosyalizasyon, benlik saygısı, toplumsal değerler, kimlik, eğitim, sosyal statü ve roller vb. gibi pek çok sosyolojik konuya yönelmektedir. Hayatın evrelerine bakıldığında, temel olarak çocukluk, gençlik, yetişkinlik ve yaşlılık aşamalarından oluştuğu görülmektedir. Her aşamanın da kendi içinde alt basamakları bulunmaktadır. Bu açıdan incelediğimiz Hacı Bektâş-ı Velî’nin tüm düşünce ve öğretilerinde, insanın temel vazifesi, daima ileriye doğru ilerlemek, daima iyiyi ve doğruyu aramak, gelişip olgunlaşmaktır. Bu tıpkı suyun akışı gibidir, çeşmeden akan su hayata doğmakta, döküldüğü toprakta can bularak olgunlaşmakta, elde ettiği tüm deneyimleri ile olgunluk, genişlik ve derinlik kazanmaktadır. Hacı Bektâş-ı Velî, tasavvufi bakışına bağlı olarak insanın gelişimi ve olgunlaşma evrelerini incelerken, hayatın içindeki insana odaklanır, onun en nihai amacı Tanrıya ulaşıp onda kaybolmak olsa da insan, toplumsal hayatta bir role ve yere sahiptir. Sorumluluklarını bilmesi ve ona göre davranması ile gelişmesi ve olgunlaşması mümkün olacaktır. Yeryüzündeki hayatı bir okul gibi gören Hz. Hünkâr, onu dört aşamalı dört dereceli bir öğrenim sistemi olarak ele alır, her aşama bir önceki ile bağlantılı bir sonraki ile süreklilik gösterir. Bu okulda sürekli ve sürdürülebilir bir eğitimden geçen insan, en nihai noktada olgunlaşarak gönül yüceliğine ulaşmaktadır.
The main purpose of life-flow sociology is to try to understand and explain the life of a person and the stages he passes through. Life is actually a process of socialization in which we each walk through different stages, which includes processes of interaction between people, which we influence and influence others in life. Through the subject, the stages of life are an interdisciplinary field, but life flow sociology, socialization and professional socialization, self-respect, social values, identity, education, social status and roles, etc. He has a lot of social issues. When it comes to the stages of life, it seems that it consists mainly of the stages of childhood, youth, adulthood and aging. Each stage has its own downstairs. In all the thoughts and teachings of Hacı Bektâş-i Velî, which we study from this point of view, the fundamental duty of man is to always move forward, always seek good and truth, develop and mature. This is like the flow of water, the water flowing from the fountain is born to life, matures by finding life in the soil it is thrown, and with all the experiences it has gained maturity, width and depth. Hagi Bektâş-i Velî, according to the tasavvufi perspective, studying the stages of human development and maturity, focuses on man in life, his ultimate goal is to reach God and disappear in him, although man has a role and place in social life. It will be possible for him to know his responsibilities and behave according to him and develop and mature. He sees life on earth as a school. Hunkar treats it as a four-stage four-degree learning system, each stage shows continuity with the next linked to the previous. In this school, the person who passes a continuous and sustainable education, at the end of the day, becomes mature and achieves the glory of the heart.
