Abstract:

Speeches play an important role in reflecting the social and cultural structures of societies. It appears to be reflected in different forms in the speeches of the lifestyles and concepts of the peoples, especially of the peoples with a rooted history. There are many speakers that have been used in written texts, although they have lived in verbal tradition for years, with the translation of the experiences they gained after long observations to the next generations in an effective and substantial way. One of these texts is the work of Dîvânu Lugâti’t-Türk, in which Kaşgârlı Mahmud travelled many Turkish lengths both and lived in those lengths with oral tradition products in the 11th century. In this work, which is one of the most important sources of Turkish language, hundreds of speakers of different Turkish length have also been included in the speakers used today in Uzbek Turkish. The purpose of this study is to identify which of the dictionaries in Dîvânu Lugâti't-Türk are used today in the Uzbek Turkish and to study whether the meaning characteristics in these dictionaries have changed. In this context, it appears that in the Uzbek Turkish speeches, which are a broad speeche in Central Asia, there are many speeches that continue to have the same meaning characteristics as Dîvânu Lugâti't-Türk.
