Abstract:

The study was done taking into account the DSM-5 diagnosis criteria. The symptoms indicated by the consultant are 25 years old and men. The sessions were performed according to cognitive behavioral therapy. He said he was unemployed for a year and his life went badly. He told me that he was unemployed for a long time and that he had some problems in his life. The counselor sees himself as an insufficient individual and the level of complaint increased every day, along with the collapse, depression and unhappy mood that accompanies this situation. The counselor told him that he tried to solve these situations by himself, but he did not succeed. He said that his life was harder because he did not succeed. Therapies have begun with a consultant who is convinced that it needs to be supported by the environment. The consultant was first given psychoeducation about what is cognitive behavioral therapy, how it progresses, the course of therapy. The development of the therapeutic relationship with the consultant has been provided. The course of therapy was first discussed from a cognitive point of view. The knowledge field is also determined by the consultant’s automatic thoughts and basic beliefs. It has been discussed from a behavioral point of view. Behavioral techniques are used that are appropriate to the consultant. Through these stages of cognitive behavioral therapy, significant achievements will be obtained on the feelings of collapse, unhappiness, depression and insufficiency that the consultant feels in himself.
