Abstract:

Today, any religion is based on the community, the taricate, etc. The number of communities has increased. Kant does not see some of these formations as a true religious community. For the true religious community does not consider the one that is contrary to any universal moral law legitimate for itself. Today, the most appropriate example of Kant's true non-religious community understanding is the Fethullahist terrorist organization. As it is known, the FETO has lost its effectiveness in our country, but it continues its actions in many countries. In this study, one of the most important philosophers in the history of moral philosophy, Kant's understanding of the ethical and legal laws, the terrorist organization FETO was addressed. In Kant’s approach, true religious communities see God as a universal legislator to be respected. Therefore they do not do the behavior they do not want to be done to others. According to Kant, respecting the law is respecting man and God. That’s why the study included Kant’s understanding of the ethical and legal laws. In the last part of the study, some of the actions of the FETO (the inter-religious dialogue process, the 17-25 December process, the attempt of the rebellious coup) were evaluated in the context of Kant's ethics. In the study, the FETO, which claims that it is based on a religion when assessed in the framework of Kant’s approach, is an international organization that regularly asks for wishes from the divine being without content and organizes conversations to read the text that slave people.
