Abstract:

For children to be able to develop and adapt to society, their parents’ attitudes are effective. Parents’ attitudes towards childbirth can be influenced by their own personal characteristics, the characteristics of the child, and many other factors. In all families comprised of persons with disabilities or with normal developmental characteristics, parents and grandparents are the responsibility of each parent. The right society is called a community of individuals who use the Turkish Sign Language (TID) in daily communication. The purpose of this study in the visual scan model is to make a scale adjustment to study the attitudes of the blind parents who found a child aged 5-6 years. The study group consisted of 258 blind parents who had a child in the target age group and used Turkish Sign Language as communication language. The data collection was used by the parent-parent attitude measurement (ABT) form. The scale is translated into the Turkish Sign Language (TID) and the Verification Factor Analysis (DFA) is performed. The Cronbach Alfa Trust Scores found 0.91 for the Democratic Attitude subdimensions, 0.86 for the Drift and Authority Attitude, 0.89 for the Extreme Tolerant Attitude. ABTÖ-A Form 38 Article TID Version is in accordance with the dirty culture and the Turkish Sign Language, it is determined that dirty parents can be used in determining the attitudes of childbirth. The study found that the low-dimensional score of surd mothers over tolerance behavior, according to the parents, was higher than the low-dimensional score of oppressive and authorized behavior for parents aged 26-30 years.
