With the involvement of technology in all areas of life, its influence in social, economic, psychological and other areas has become even more important. Therefore, in this study, in particular in Turkey, the technology has been studied with the help of economic analysis of how and in what direction it affects the employment. The study conducted a modeling in which the employment rate of Turkey between 1991 and 2018 was selected as a dependent variable, the research and development expenditure (R&D) of independent variables, the number of patent applications and the technology product export (mediate and advanced technology) data were preferred. The findings have found a long-term relationship with Johansen's Integration Analysis, and the Vector Autocorrelation Model (VAR) has studied variance division and effect-range analysis. As an explanator of the employment variable, it has been shown that the highest rate of technological product exports, followed by the number of patent applications and R&D expenditure. The impact-effect analysis also observed the employment reduction of high-tech product exports, the R&D expenditure and the number of patent applications, while the employment increasing effect.
