Introduction: The aim of this article is to promote and evaluate the community health and field practice vertical corridor program which is carried out within the life cycles block. The aim of the community health and field practice program is to show the various preventive health care services applicable in the different stages of life and provide them with a chance to observe these services. There are 14 hours theoretical and three hours practical per student. Practicals include reproductive rights discussion, home visits of infants and pregnant women with midwives, discussion of observations during home visits. Material and Method: The effectiveness of the program has been assessed through the level of success of the students and their feedbacks about the program. Students feedback gathered using a questionnaire consisting of a nine point Likert Scale (1: very bad - 9: very good) and open ended questions. 85.9% of the students (244 out of 284) gave their feedbacks. Findings: The students obtained a mean score of 91.7±8.4 from the observation forms and home assignments works. The average score of the program was above 6.50 in all aspects. Lectures and home visits were the most popular items. The items positively evaluated by the students were; the lectures and practices were reciprocally supportive, a very beneficial reproductive rights discussion was conducted by a specialist of the field and home visits provided a positive learning environment. Result: Community health and field practice program gave the students the opportunity of knowing each other and working jointly with community health care staff. The program provided the students with a holistic approach and provided them with a chance to implement their knowledge in real life situations.
