Özet:

There are pieces of information in sources about the Qur'anic understanding problems of the Companions of the Prophet Muhammad. Again in some studies, there is information about which verses they do not understand. However, these issues have not been evaluated in a study within the framework of integrity. Therefore, this article is being researched. This work will be done from the narrations in the tafsir and some other sources. The verses that the Companions of the Prophet Muhammad do not understand and the reasons they do not understand will be determined and these will be evaluated. When evaluating the verses, the order in Mushaf is based. Companions of Prophet Muhammad (a.s.) with various factors increased to an important position in tafsir. However, they had difficulty understanding some verses because it meant that it was incomprehensible. They did not hesitate to ask to the Prophet Muhammad (a.s.) and his followers when they faced such a situation. In some narrations - if these narrations are true - it is explained that our Prophet did not understand a few verses and asked him about Gabriel. Meaning closeness in general is due to the semantic structure of grammar and narrations. Their misunderstanding has sometimes caused problems between them. The Companions did not understand and sometimes misunderstood various verses for similar reasons; however, the proportion of verses in this way is very small compared to the next generations. Because they were the first interlocutors of revelation. For this reason, they have gained significant advantages in interpretation. Based on these advantages, they narrated their commentaries on the next generations. The generations who followed them also benefited. Thus, as a tradition, the principle of benefiting from the Companions has become an important acceptance of the commentary.
