Abstract:

The purpose of this research is to study the relationships between the style of connectivity that university students have and prosocial behavior. The research used by the relational scan model was carried out on 551 students studying from first to fourth grade at the University of Kırıkkale in the 2018-2019 educational year. In the research, data collection tools, developed by Carlo and Randal (2002) and adapted to university students by Star, Boz and Lightning (2012) and developed by Kandemir and Ilhan (2017) have been used in the Interpersonal Relationship Connection Styles Scale. For the analysis of the hypothesis test model, the path analysis method has been used using the AMOS package programs. The results of the study have found that the safe connection style of university students has the power to submit the obedient prosocial behavior in a meaningful and positive, the secret/scientific prosocial behavior in a positive and meaningful way. According to the research findings, an anxious linking style has a positive and meaningful impact on public prosocial behavior and beneficial prosocial behavior. At the same time, it has also been found that the style of escape connectivity makes public prosocial behavior meaningful in the positive direction, beneficial prosocial behavior meaningful and positive. The findings obtained after the analysis of the research were discussed by comparison with the results of the research in the field. In the final section of the study, the results of the study are presented.
