Bu araştırma, Bartın Üniversitesi İslami İlimler Fakültesi’nde (n=104), Eğitim Fakültesi’nin Sosyal Bilgiler Öğretmenliği Bölümü’nde (n=52) ve BESYO’da (n=94) 2015–2016 öğretim yılında öğrenim görenler arasından rastgele seçilen 250 öğrenci üzerinde gerçekleştirilmiştir. Çalışmada, üniversite öğrencilerinin mesleki kaygıları ile hayattaki anlam düzeyleri arasındaki ilişkiler incelenmiştir. Kişisel Bilgi Anketi, Mesleki Kaygı ve Hayatın Anlam ve Amacı Ölçeği, 128’i kız ve 122’si erkek toplam 250 öğrenciye, 2016 Nisan-Mayıs ayları içinde uygulanmıştır. Mesleki kaygı ile hayatın anlamı arasındaki ilişki cinsiyet, bölüm, yaş ve ekonomik durum gibi değişkenler açısından incelenmiştir. Araştırma sonucunda, mesleki kaygı ile hayatın anlamı arasında negatif yönde önemli bir ilişki (r= -0,279 p<0,001) bulunmuştur. Ayrıca, öğrencilerin mesleki kaygı düzeylerinde bölüm, yaş, cinsiyet ve ekonomik durum açısından anlamlı farklılık görülmezken hayattaki anlam düzeylerinde bölüm ve ekonomik durum açısından anlamlı farklılıklar görülmüştür.

Abstract:

This study was carried out on 250 students randomly selected from those studied at the Faculty of Islamic Sciences of the University of Bartin (n=104), the Faculty of Education's Social Information Teaching Department (n=52) and BESYO (n=94) in the 2015-2016 academic year. In the study, the relationship between the professional concerns of university students and the level of meaning in life was studied. Personal Information Survey, Career Anxiety and Meaning and Purpose Scale of Life, 128 girls and 122 men were applied to a total of 250 students, in the months of April-May 2016. The relationship between occupational anxiety and the meaning of life has been studied in terms of variables such as gender, division, age and economic situation. The study found a significant negative relationship between occupational anxiety and the meaning of life (r= -0,279; p<0,001). Furthermore, there are no significant differences in the level of occupational concern of students in terms of department, age, gender and economic situation; significant differences in the level of meaning in life have been observed in terms of department and economic situation.
