Türkiye’nin büyük akarsu havzalarından biri olan Çoruh havzasında yapılacak taşkın tesisleri, su tutma yapıları ve suyun kullanıma sunulması amacıyla tasarlanacak bütün yapılar için akarsu debisinin ve bu debiyi oluşturan en büyük etmenlerden biri olan taban akış değerinin bilinmesi gerekmektedir. Taban akışı, havzaya yağan yağışa, akarsu ağı toplam uzunluğuna, drenaj yoğunluğuna, engebeliliğe vb. diğer faktörlere bağlı olduğundan gecikmeli bir akış olarak gerçekleşir ve yaz mevsiminde akarsu akışının önemli bir bölümünü, bazen ise tamamını karşılamaktadır. Çalışmada İngiliz Hidroloji Enstitüsü Yuvarlatılmış Minimumlar (İHEY) yöntemi kullanılarak Çoruh havzası üzerinde bulunan 10 adet Akım Gözlem İstasyonundan (AGİ) elde edilen günlük ortalama akarsu debileri yardımıyla akarsu debileri 5’erli gruplara ayrılmış, elde edilen bu gruplar içerisindeki en küçük debi değerleri minimum değerler olarak kabul edilmiştir. Daha sonra dönüm noktalarının kendinden önceki ve sonraki grubun minimum değerinin 0,9 katından küçük olması durumunda bu değer dönüm noktası olarak kabul edilmiş ve dönüm noktaları arasında kalan boşluklar doğrusal enterpolasyon yöntemi ile doldurularak akarsuya ait günlük taban akışı değerleri elde edilmiştir. Havzada yapılan çalışma sonucunda havzadaki taban akış indeksinin havza genelinde ortalama olarak 0,80 oranında olduğu belirlenmiş ve özellikle yaz aylarındaki akımın büyük çoğunluğunun taban akışından kaynaklandığı gözlemlenmiştir..
It is necessary to know the flow value of the flow flow for all structures to be designed for the purposes of the use of the water holding structures and water, which will be made in the Çoruh pool, which is one of the greatest factors that make up this flow. The base flow, the rainfall to the pool, the total length of the flow network, the intensity of drainage, the impairedness, etc. Because it is dependent on other factors, it occurs as a delayed flow, and in summer it meets a significant part of the flow, and sometimes it meets the whole. In the study, the British Institute of Hydrology used the method of Rounded Minimums (IHEY) with the help of the daily average flow bulbs obtained from 10 current observation stations (GI) on the Çoruh pool, the flow bulbs divided into 5 groups, the smallest flow values obtained among these groups were considered as minimum values. In the event that the turn points are less than 0.9 times the minimum value of the previous and subsequent group, this value was considered the turn point and the remaining gap between the turn points was obtained by filling the linear enterpolation method with the daily base flow values of the current. The study found that the basin flow index in the basin was 0.80 per cent in the basin, and the majority of the flow in the summer was caused by the basin flow.
In order to be able to build flood prevention facilities, water retaining structures and water utilization edifices in Çoruh basin, (one of the major stream basins of Turkey), the streamflow and its most significant contributing factor, the baseflow values should be known. Because the baseflow depends on the precipitation in basin, the total length of the stream system, the drainage density, the ruggedness and other factors, it occurs as a delayed flow and meets a significant part of the streamflow in summer and sometimes the whole. In this study, the flow rates of the streamflow were divided into five groups with the aid of daily average streamflow rates obtained from ten Current Observation Stations on the Coruh basin by using the Smoothed Minima Technique of the British Institute of Hydrology and the smallest flow rates within these groups were considered as minimum values. Then, if the turning point is less than 0.9 the minimum value of the previous and next group, this value was accepted as a turning point and the gaps between the turning points were obtained the daily streamflow values of the stream by filling with linear interpolation method. As a result of conducted the study in the basin, the baseflow index in the basin was found as 0.80 on the avarege in all across basin and it was observed that the majority of the flow in the summer months was mainly observed due to the baseflow.
