The purpose of this research is to examine the relationship between social anxiety and attachment styles of adolecents. The study group consisted of 258 high school students. As the data collection tool of the research, the Relationship Scales Questionnaire, Social Anxiety Scale and the personal information form were used. In addition to Social Anxiety and Attachment styles, whether social anxiety changes or not according to descriptive characteristics were also analyzed. The analyses revealed that there was a significant relationship between social anxiety and attachment styles; the social anxiety levels of adolescents did not change with respect to the gender variable, but varied with the educational level of parents and the degree of satisfaction with the attention and affection of the father.
