Diffüz idiyopatik iskelet hiperosteozisi entezis ve eklem kapsülü gibi yumuşak dokularda ossifikasyon ve kalsifikasyon ile karakterize, enflamatuvar olmayan bir hastalıktır. Sıklıkla torakal vertebraları etkilemekle birlikte servikal vertebra tutulumu da görülebilmektedir. Birbirini takip eden dört vertebranın ön yüzünde birleşme eğilimindeki ossifikasyonların gözlenmesiyle ve omurganın dejeneratif ve enflamatuvar hastalıklarının dışlanmasıyla tanı konmaktadır. Servikal vertebra tutulumunda ağrı, hareket kısıtlılığı sık gözlenirken, disfaji, ses kısıklığı, horlama gibi semptomlar da oluşturabilmektedir. Bu yazıda boyun ve sırtta ağrı, hareketlerde kısıtlılık ve katı gıdalarda daha çok olmak üzere yutma güçlüğü olan 69 yaşında erkek hastanın sunulması amaçlanmıştır. Hastanın servikal görüntülemesinde özofagusa bası yapan anterior ossifikasyonları ve miyelomalazi oluşturmayan posterior ossifikasyonları mevcuttu. Hastaya ilerleyici disfajisi açısından cerrahi önerildi, ancak hasta kabul etmedi. Hastaya ağrı, hareket kısıtlığı ve yutma güçlüğü açısından uygulanan egzersiz ve yutma eğitimi ile şikayetlerinde kısmi iyileşme elde edildi.

This article aims to introduce a 69-year-old male patient with more difficulty in sweating, including throat and back pain, limitation in movements and more difficulty in solid foods. In the cervical image of the patient there were anterior ossifications that pressed the ozofagus and posterior ossifications that did not form myelomalysis. The patient was recommended surgery in terms of progressive disfusion, but the patient did not accept it. The patient received partial healing in his complaints with exercise and sweating training applied in terms of pain, limitation of movement and difficulty in sweating.
