Abstract:

This study approaches the theoretical and conceptual analysis of foreign policy, which is developing generalizable, medium-scale explanations to set the foreign policy orientations of the states on systematic bases. The study shows that the external policy analysis in the context of the individual-building relationship is causal separation from the field of international relations, and emphasizes that the external policy analysis focuses primarily on decision makers and processes. The rational choice theory and psychological approaches are highlighted, the discussion of approaches that go to the way of explanation of foreign policy guidelines through decision makers follows the evaluation of process-based approaches. The internal policy processes that influence the external policy and approaches developed through the internal policy processes consisting mainly of public, media and interest groups. The study ends with the approaches that put their cultural and emotional dimensions on a decade.
