Abstract:

This study examined the opinions of candidates for psychological counseling on the services for elderly and elderly and sought to highlight the importance of psychological counseling and guidance services for elderly. This research has been carried out in the fact scientific pattern of the quality research patterns. The research data was collected through the semi-configured conversation technique from the quality data collection techniques. The meeting was held with 70 participants. In the analysis of data, content analysis is used. The findings have been discussed in the summer, taking into account, implementation and advanced research recommendations. This research was carried out with the participation of 70 psychological consultants who continue to the Faculty of Education of an university in Ankara in the 2019-2020 academic year. Sixteen of the candidates for psychological consultants involved in the study are female and seven male students. According to the research results, the opinions of candidates for psychological consultants on aging and aging services are positive. According to another conclusion from the study, all psychological consultants have expressed their opinion that they want to work as psychological consultants in the field of psychological consultancy with postgraduate elderly. According to the opinions of the candidates for psychological consultants and the scan of literature; in our country, it is necessary to increase psychological consultancy and guidance services to improve the social and psychological aspects of the elderly.
