Bu araştırmanın amacı, fen bilimleri dersi kapsamında ortaokul öğrencilerinin ekosistem, biyolojik çeşitlilik ve çevre sorunları konularına yönelik başarılarını ölçmek amacıyla kullanılabilecek, geçerliği ve güvenirliği sağlanmış bir başarı testi geliştirmektir. Bu doğrultuda araştırma iki aşamadan oluşmuştur. İlk aşama bir test geliştirme çalışmasını kapsamaktadır. İkinci aşama ise tarama modeline uygun olarak yürütülmüştür. Test geliştirme çalışmasında hazırlanan aday test formu 2 fen eğitimi alan uzmanı ve 3 fen bilimleri öğretmeni tarafından soruların kazanımlara, Bloom taksonomisindeki soru düzeyi ve öğrenci düzeyine uygunluğu, 1 Türkçe öğretmeni tarafından soruların dil ve anlatım özellikleri bakımından incelenmiştir. Uzman görüşleri doğrultusunda tekrar düzenlenen aday test, 2018-2019 eğitim öğretim yılında, 9. sınıf düzeyindeki 201 öğrenciye uygulanmıştır. Aday teste uygulanan madde analizi sonucunda geçerliği ve güvenirliği sağlanan 30 soruluk başarı testi geliştirilmiştir. Araştırmanın ikinci aşamasında, geliştirilen test 8. sınıf öğrencilerine uygulanmıştır. Öğrencilerin ilgili konularına ait bilgi düzeyleri, testten alınabilecek en yüksek puan dikkate alındığında nispeten yeterli bulunmuştur.
The purpose of this research is to develop a validity and reliability test that can be used to measure high school students’ achievements in the fields of ecosystem, biological diversity and environmental issues. In this way, the research is made up of two stages. The first stage involves a test development work. The second phase is performed according to the screening model. The candidate test form prepared in the test development study was studied by 2 specialists in the field of science education and 3 teachers of science to the achievements of questions, the level of question in Bloom taxonomy and the suitability to the student level, 1 Turkish teacher in terms of the language and narrative characteristics of questions. The candidate test, re-organized according to the expert opinions, was applied to 201 students at the 9th grade level in the 2018-2019 educational year. The candidate test has developed a 30 question success test that provides validity and reliability as a result of the substance analysis applied. In the second phase of the study, the developed test was applied to 8th grade students. The level of knowledge about the relevant subjects of the students was found relatively sufficient when taking into account the highest score that can be obtained from the test.
The aim of this research is to develop a valid and reliable test that could be used to measure the success of middle school students in the areas of Ecosystem, Biodiversity and Environmental Problems within the scope of the science course. The research consists of two stages. The first stage includes test development studies, and the second stage is carried out in accordance with the scanning model. The candidate test form which is prepared in the test development study was examined by two science education experts and three science teachers according to the objectives of the questions. The cognitive level of the questions in Bloom's taxonomy and the suitability of these levels to students were investigated. Also, language and expression characteristics of the questions were checked by a Turkish teacher. The candidate test, which was re-organized with expert opinions, was administered to 201 students at the 9th grade in the 2018-2019 academic year. An item analysis was applied to the candidate test. As a result, an achievement test of 30 questions, whose validity and reliability were provided, was developed. In the second stage of the study, the developed test was applied to 8th grade students. Considering the students' level of knowledge about subjects and the highest score that can be obtained from the test, it was found to be relatively sufficient.
