Abstract:

This research focuses on the subject of the perceptions of teachers about effective teaching behaviors. The aim of this study is to identify the effective teachers’ behavior and the factors that influence these behaviors. The perceptions of teachers about the effective teacher behavior and whether these perceptions have a positive relationship between gender, seniority and the institution in which they graduate. In this study, the screening model was used. The research covers 22 secondary schools in the official schools affiliated with the Ministry of National Education, which continue to operate in the 2021-2022 Education-Teaching year. In total, 116 different teachers, including 54 women and 62 men, were attended. The data obtained on a scale consisting of five liquid-type substances, SPSS 20 percent, were analyzed by an arithmetic average. Research findings reveal which of the effective teachers’ behaviors are shown or not shown and how much of them are shown. The research finds that teachers’ perceptions of effective teachers’ behavior are quite high. In addition, there is no significant difference in age and gender in the opinions of teachers about the effective teaching behavior, while there is a significant difference in the institution they graduate. According to the findings of the study, teachers have very important qualities in the fields of being understandable and patient with students, giving students meaningful tasks, pursuing research in the field of education, linking the present course content to past and future learning, being fair and honest with students, acquiring the principle of lifelong learning, making a difference in students' lives.
