Özet:

T he purpose of this research is to reveal the ecotourism potential of Yenişarbademli through SWOT analysis. The survey focused on whether or not Yenişarbademli is suitable for ecotourism activities. In this context, the strengths and weaknesses of Yenişarbademli and the environmental  opportunities  and  threats  were  tried  to  be  determined.  Research  is  a theoretical, practical and exploratory study. The theoretical part was prepared by using the literature; a  questionnaire  was  applied  to  determine the opinions  of  local  people about ecotourism and ecotourism activities. Besides these, natural and cultural resources have been tried to be discovered by being gone to the region specially. A face-to-face survey was conducted with 127 people. According to the findings obtained, it is a potential to host ecotourism with its forests, caves, nature and springs. Among the ecotourism activities there are mountain trekking, bird watching, camping /caravan tourism, mountaineering, bicycle tourism. It can be said that the weaknesses of Yenişarbademli are the difficulties in transportation, lack of infrastructure and lack of publicity. Participants point out that Yenişarbademli has a unique natural beauty; to make infrastructure ready for ecotourism activities; the promotion of the event and the activities should be announced to a large mass.
