Abstract:

Art movements that developed with the eighteenth century led to the production of the object, which is the basic element of the works, in different disciplines and equipped with a different meaning. The production of data from different disciplines by equipping them with a new meaning in another discipline, apart from the original meaning, has ensured that the works have a fragmented and polyphonic (multi-meaningful) content. Thus, the exchanges (citations) between the studied works and the disciplines were placed on a theoretical basis with the methods of intertextuality. In this context, the concept of intertextuality is important in the theoretical analysis of the works produced in the process called postmodern. With this study, it has been concluded that the disciplines that the modern understanding has separated in the period we live in, which is called postmodern, are re-associated. Quoting methods performed with each other between different disciplines allow works to be produced in a polyphonic composition. From this point of view, the ability to use the language of art, which is one of the main purposes of art education, has brought interdisciplinary reading with it today. The perspectives of the artists, researchers and educators who take place and produce in this environment and their knowledge perspectives about their fields also spread over a wide range.
